SEASON 2025-2026
From the Kymi-Saimaa region championships, Parru Red has moved up to compete in the high-level II-division, where it will now continue for a second season. In addition, the team will defend last season's FCAA university championship.
TEAM LINE-UP
Parru HT will operate with two teams in the 2025-26 season, with a combined strength of over 50 players. Everyone is welcome to practice and participate in team activities, so feel free to join in if you are interested in ice hockey!
CHARITY
Parru HT's focus is on creating well-being not only for its own team but also for others, which is why charity is an important part of the team's activities. In the 2024-2025 season, Parru HT organized two charity matches, which raised thousands of euros for charity.

Parru Red
Parru Red practices 3 times a week and plays in the high-level Division II and FCAA college leagues.
Parru Black
Parru Black practices 1-2 times a week and plays in the FCAA college league.
Team history
Parru HT was founded in 1995 by hockey students at the then Lappeenranta University of Technology and Saimaa University of Applied Sciences. Over the years, the team's activities have grown significantly and now Parru HT is the largest single sports team on the Lappeenranta campus. Winning one championship after another has been the style of Parru HT's operations in recent years, but the team never forgets to smile in the corner of their eyes in the joy of winning.
The Old Parru players are naturally an important part of the team's history and what the team is today. Every year, the traditional Hegemony is played, where the current Parru HT meets the Old Parru, or Jarru HT.
