Team history
Parru HT was founded in 1995 by hockey students at the then Lappeenranta University of Technology and Saimaa University of Applied Sciences. Over the years, the team's activities have grown significantly and now Parru HT is the largest single sports team on the Lappeenranta campus. Winning one championship after another has been the style of Parru HT's operations in recent years, but the team never forgets to smile in the corner of their eyes in the joy of winning.
The Old Parru players are naturally an important part of the team's history and what the team is today. Every year, the traditional Hegemony is played, where the current Parru HT meets the Old Parru, or Jarru HT.
